Join us as we explore how climate change is shaping the world, and in turn changing the way animals look, adapt, and behave. We'll discover how animals evolve over time and in response to the ways we transform the planet, and how some animals are able to weather the change while others go extinct. Campers will be inspired to find the ways they can advocate for wildlife and make a positive change in the world.

Junior Scientists: Conservation Scientists

Campers discover how WCS scientists, artists, and exhibit designers replicate the natural areas we protect around the globe in our zoo. During this week of camp, your child can learn how WCS studies these habitats and educates and inspires visitors about the animals that live there. Through engaging activities, exhibit visits, and animal demonstrations, campers will gain a new understanding of zoo exhibit design. Campers will use what they have learned to then explore some of the natural areas around the zoo and create their own model exhibit!

Campers must be ages 11-13 years entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in the fall of 2025.
