Sheep and Pigs

We have three breeds of sheep at the Queens Zoo: Jacob’s four-horned, Shetland, and Southdown. Also look out for the Mangalitsa pigs, a Hungarian breed of domestic pig, and the only living breed with a coat of curly hair.

Arabian Horse

Bred historically for agility and speed, Arabian horses tend to have naturally high energy levels. As one of the oldest equine breeds, these horses were used historically by the Bedouin tribes for transportation of people and goods.
