Early Childhood Programs
Enjoy adventures together in this stroller-friendly series! Each Stroller Safari is a one-hour experience for children 18 mos - 3 yrs and a caregiver. You'll go on nature walks around the zoo, construct animal-related crafts, play animal-themed games, and have special animal encounters to develop science skills.

Stroller Safari: City Creatures
New York City might be the most populated city in North America, but humans aren’t the only ones who call it home! Coyotes, birds of prey, raccoons, and more are native New Yorkers that can be found across the boroughs. We’ll learn about the animals that live in New York and how to respect them through fun crafts, zoo exploration, and up-close animal encounters!
SERIES DATES: 10/4, 10/11, 10/18
$36 non-member / $30 member
Please note the price is per series date. One ticket covers one caregiver and one child. The program is intended for children 2+. One caregiver must be in attendance during the duration of the program.

Stroller Safari: South American Safari
Grab a hat, some binoculars, and a camera, it’s time for a safari! Queens Zoo is home to many spectacular South American species, including Andean bears, Chacoan peccaries, and thick-billed parrots. We’ll discover these captivating creatures as we explore the zoo, make unique crafts, and meet our educational animals up close!

Stroller Safari: Land, Sea, and Air
On the ground, in the water, and in the air: animals can be found all around the world! From webbed feet to stocky hooves to full feathers, these animals have different bodies that suit their environment. Join us as we explore the world, craft away, and have up-close experience with animals from around the world!
