Animal Behavior at the Zoo

Photo Credit: Julie Larsen Maher ©WCS

Caring for the Zoo's animals requires a great deal. Before an animal even gets here, our staff spends time observing its behavior in the field. Students will learn about animal behavior studies, and even conduct a mini study themselves. Based on their observations and research, they'll then create an exhibit for their animal. They'll put their critical thinking to good use!
