Camps are designed to help your child learn, explore, socialize,and have fun! Campers will experience up-close animal encounters, explore exhibits, create life-long memories, and make wonderful friends!

Toddler Time Camp

AGE: 2 - 3 years (with adult)
DAYS & TIME: Monday – Friday, 10–11 a.m.
FEE: $150 non-members; $125 members

Join us for a week long program to meet the wonderful furry, scaly, and feathery animals in the zoo. You and your child will explore nature through live animals, movement and musical activities, and crafts.

KinderZoo

AGE: Entering PreK - K age 4 and up.
DAYS & TIME: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m –3 p.m.
FEE: $400 non-members; $375 members

'A' Session: Campers will explore animal senses and adaptations! Crafts, hands-on activities, and animal guests are all part of the fun!

'B' Session: Animals have some amazing super powers. Your own little super camper will explore animal habitats and adaptations! through Craft, hands-on activities, and animal guests throughout the week.

Sessions A & B are different from each other so you can choose to send your child to camp for two non-repeating weeks.

Week of Wildlife

AGE: Entering 1st - 2nd grade in the Fall
DAYS & TIME: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m –3 p.m.
FEE: $400 non-members; $375 members

'A' Session: Children will listen, learn and create as they explore music made by animal groups like mammals, reptiles, & birds. Each day is filled with exciting games, crafts and fun science explorations.

'B' Session: Campers will graduate in the academy of fun and learning at the zoo. Each day camper will explore wildife and wild places through exciting experiments, fun games and crafts.

Sessions A & B are different from each other so you can choose to send your child to camp for two non-repeating weeks.

Zoo Explorer

AGE: Entering 3rd - 5th grade in the Fall
DAYS & TIME: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m –3 p.m.
FEE: $400 non-members; $375 members

Zoo Explorer - Native Wildlife: Campers will explore wildlife in the zoo and in our amazing urban environment. Through activities like bird counts,exciting experiments and investigations of habitats in the park, campers will discover how valuable our native wildlife is

JULY 10 - 14

Zoo Explorer - Zoo Detective: Campers will spend the week searching for clues to discover amazing wildlife in the zoo. Each day is packed with investigations, interactive games, projects, and animal guests.

Zoo Explorer - Mad Science: Every day will be a wild adventure. Campers will explore wildlife through the lens of biologists, chemists and physicists through wild experiments and fun investigations around the zoo.

Junior Scientist

AGE: Entering 6th - 8th grade in the Fall
DAYS & TIME: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m –3 p.m.
FEE: $400 non-members; $375 members

Junior Scientist - A Search for Life: Campers will spend the week exploring animal exhibits and wild habitats, conducting wild experiment and investigating behaviors of animals like our birds and bears. Through creative hands-on activities, campers will discover the amazing diversity of life in the zoo and our too.

JULY 17 - 21

Junior Scientist - Surf and Turf: Campers will become conservation scientists and explore animals on land and in the water. Each day they will learn about animals in the zoo through science experiments, behavior studies, exhibit design projects and more.

Wildlife Maker Camp

Age: Entering 6th - 8th grade in the Fall
Days & Time: Monday – Friday, 9 a.m –3 p.m.
FEE: $400 non-members; $375 members

Campers will use our pop-up maker space to tinker, design, create and explore important wildlife issues. They will use everyday materials in exciting ways and through open-ended exploration and experimentation find creative solutions to some real world concerns about the animals in our care.

After Care Program

FEE: $150 non-members; $125members
DAYS & TIME: Monday – Friday; 3 – 5 p.m.

Extend your camper's experience. Under the care of our staff, campers will explore the zoo, play games and just have fun together until you can pick them up. This is open to all age groups and each camp week.
