Julie Larsen Maher ©WCS Get ready for spine-tingling surprises as the animals receive scrumptious Halloween treats. Enjoy face-painting and pumpkin picking and stop by the Farm for a spooky animal presentation. Children ages 12 and under in costume get free admission when accompanied by an adult!

Pumpkin Enrichment
Watch the zoo’s pumas and Andean bears tear into terrifying treat-filled pumpkins!
Time: Pumas at 1:00 p.m.; Bears at 2:30 p.m on October 27-28.
Pick a Perfect Pumpkin
The first 200 zoo-goers each day can pick and decorate their own Halloween pumpkins at our patch on the Farm.
Face Painting
Be a lion, puma, or bear for Halloween!
Time: Noon–3:00 p.m.
Haunted Habitat
Enjoy a frighteningly good time in the zoo's Wild Room.
Time: 11 a.m.-4 p.m. October 27-28
Spooky Animal Presentations
Enjoy spooky animal presentations featuring snakes and other creepy-crawlers on the farm's Discovery Center.
Time: 1:30 and 3:00 p.m.
Trick-or-Treat
Stop by treat stations located around the zoo to sweeten your day.
Time: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Halloween Festivities: Wednesday, Oct. 31, 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Bring your kids to trick-or-treat around the zoo and enjoy crafts, storytelling, and up-close encounters with our animals. Spooky animal presentations will delight children and adults at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. in our Discovery Center on the farm.
