Mini Camps

Children will discover the natural world around them in this exciting two day camp wildlife adventure. Participants will meet some of the zoo's animals and learn about their habitats. Instructors will lead them on behind the scenes tours at the zoo exhibits, exciting animal presentations, arts and crafts, and other activities will be part of the fun.

Mid-Winter Camp Session

Ages: 5 - 9 years old
Dates: February 18 & 19
Time: 10AM – 3PM
Fee: Members $125; Non-members $150

Spring Camp Session  WAITLIST

Ages: 5 - 9 years old
Dates: March 27 & 28
Time: 10AM – 3PM

High School Zoo Internship

Interested in animals and conservation? Then this is the experience for you. Spend your Sundays at the Queens Zoo getting an in-depth look at a variety of zoo careers. You'll meet with a zoo vet tech, conduct an animal behavior study, learn about green roofs, work with zoo keepers, photograph wildlife, and much more. This experience looks great on college applications and is an ideal follow-up to the summer teen internship.

Ages: 13 - 17 years old
Dates: February 24, March 3, 10, 17, and 24
Time: 9AM – 1PM
Fee: Members $450; Non-members $500
