Mammals

Your students will learn about the characteristics and adaptations of mammals as they explore some amazing mammal exhibits around the zoo. Compare mammals from North, Central and South America. They will also have the opportunity to touch and feed some of our farm mammals too.

This tour focuses on the amazing features that birds have and their incredible diversity! Your students will explore the adaptations of ducks, birds of prey, parrots, and more! They will also learn how they can do simple things to help protect our avian friends.

Protecting the Environment

K - 12th

Why are thick-billed parrots in trouble in the wild? Can we protect oceans for sea lions and other aquatic animals? While exploring our animals around the Zoo, your students will learn about endangered species and discover some things that we can all do to protect wildlife.
