Meet a variety of furry, scaly, and feathery zoo animals in these interactive classes for toddlers and their caregivers. Live animals, movement and musical activities, and a craft are part of the fun. Each of the series consists of six sessions.

Kinder Kritters
These interactive classes for 4 & 5 year olds and their caregivers are a must for any animal-loving family. Programs include hands-on activities, animal guests and visits to exhibits with a whole bunch of fun! Some classes include keeper chats, a scavenger hunt and more.

Little Hatchlings
Start your child on a learning adventure outdoors. Classes with a zoo educator offer an introduction to animals and nature. During each class you will be introduced to an animal topic with songs and stories, nature play and movement, and a visit to an animal exhibit.

Family Overnight Adventures
Have you ever wondered what you can see in the zoo at night? Join us for a new experience exploring Queens Zoo after hours. You and your family (children 5 and older) will be treated to fun-filled activities such as learning about animal diets and preparing some animal enrichment treats. You'll go on a late night walk in the Aviary, meet some of our animals up close. This exciting adventure is sure to create memories your family will treasure. Sign up soon – space is limited. Bring your own tent, sleeping bags, and picnic dinner. Beverages, dessert, late-night snack, and breakfast, will be provided. No need for alarm clocks, our vocal parrots will provide the wake-up call.
